The Store Clerk is responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient store operation. This role entails maintaining the store’s sanitation, conducting transactions, and assisting the customers.
JOB DETAILS
- Assist customers with their purchases and answering their questions;
- Process cash and credit transactions;
- Stock and restock the shelves and storeroom as needed;
- Maintain a clean and organized store;
- Greet customers and maintain a high level of service excellence;
- Take and process orders as directed;
- Manage the inventory;
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one (1) year practical experience as a store clerk or similar administrative role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other office software
- Knowledge of the cash register and basic computer skills

- Must possess the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Must possess effective communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Must possess time management skills
- Must demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
- Must demonstrate a professional demeanor and a positive attitude
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
