JOB SUMMARY
The accountant is responsible for auditing financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements, and calculating tax payments and returns. This role requires experience in bookkeeping and a keen eye for spotting numerical mistakes.
JOB DETAILS
- Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger entries and account reconciliations
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax filings
- Process accounts payable and receivable
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement
- Support audits and provide the necessary documentation
- Manage payroll and employee benefits processing
- Assist in developing and maintaining internal controls and procedure
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCENCIES
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of five (3) years practical experience in accounting and financial management, and supervisory
- Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) designation preferred
- Proficient in Financial Software and Microsoft Excel
