JOB DETAILS

The Store Clerk is responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient store operation. This role entails maintaining the store’s sanitation, conducting transactions, and assisting the customers.

JOB DETAILS

  • Assist customers with their purchases and answering their questions;
  • Process cash and credit transactions;
  • Stock and restock the shelves and storeroom as needed;
  • Maintain a clean and organized store;
  • Greet customers and maintain a high level of service excellence;
  • Take and process orders as directed;
  • Manage the inventory;

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one (1) year practical experience as a store clerk or similar administrative role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other office software
  • Knowledge of the cash register and basic computer skills

  • Must possess the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Must possess effective communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Must possess time management skills
  • Must demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
  • Must demonstrate a professional demeanor and a positive attitude
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
